In these strange times, many of us have come to appreciate our gardens more than ever. We see them as a sanctuary far away from all the madness going on around us and for some of us, they provide a new workspace.
Garden centers have never been so busy, as people dig up their dull, hard landscaped gardens to plant them with shrubs, ornamental trees and flowers. Many have also begun experimenting with growing their own fruit and veg and there’s little that can compete with the deep satisfaction of popping into the garden to pick something fresh to eat.
Gardening has also been proven to be good for our mental health and wellbeing, a tonic for the soul, so let’s get out there.
