What is it with Hozelock, their spray guns never last more than a year before they malfunction, crack, split or simply fall to bits in your hands. I’ve bought their cheapo all plastic guns as well as their expensive metal models and no matter what, they still fall to bits in less than 12 months.
I have enough of their broken guns to create a show-stopper art installation that wouldn’t look out of place on a pedestal at ‘Tate Britain’ so… I’m done with them.
Once, I needed a teeny weeny rubber washer (cost 1p? – gun £35) to replace a defective gun that chose to spray in every direction but that which I pointed at. I called customer service only to be told, ‘Sorry, but we don’t sell the parts, you’ll have to buy a new one,’ ‘Oh ok… thanks for that.’
I bought one of their pull-out wall-mounted hoses for a mere £100 and needed to replace a little plastic clip that secures the hose to the back of the unit, it’s rendered useless without, again, Hozlock’s attitude was no can do on replacement parts.
Fortunately, I now buy from a company whose products are superior in every way, shape and form, ‘Gardena,’ they’re a German company i.e. = quality build and I’ve no hesitation recommending them the next time your Hozelocks product disappoints.
